Happy Sunday, Thea!

It’s been a very long week, and, with getting our place prepped for the exchange, there won’t be a post today. Sorry, but there still is a song of the day, and a photo of the day. ;)

Love you tons, and can’t wait to see you later today!

Happy weekend, Thea!

I didn’t hear from you at all yesterday, so, I’m not sure how your day went. I hope that your pajama party was awesome, and that you had a great day at school. It’s a three-day weekend, too, since you have Monday off! This coming week is also the book fair, so, that should be awesome!

I heard you’re going to Belle’s today! That sounds like a ton of fun, and I hope you have the absolute best time. Road trips are always fun, especially with the weather we’ve been having! I’m hoping that all of you have a really great time, and get to spend a lot of time with Belle and Daniel. Hopefully she’ll stay and hang out with you, instead of leaving with Mom. :)

You really should go to the Insta Page and follow that I mentioned before, so you can vote on trailers, and have a say in the stuff we’re watching this week! The stories have all likely expired by now, but, I’ll try adding them to the highlights area, and see if you can still vote. You can also watch all of the trailers here!

The phones should be turned back on at some point today, so, hopefully maybe if you get bored during the road trip, maybe you’ll text or snap me. I miss you a whole, whole bunch, and can’t wait to see you on Sunday!

I love you,

-Dad

Happy Friday, Thea!

I’m sorry that this week has turned so chaotic and stressful, but, the week is nearly over, and I hope that your Friday is fantastic.

I think Phoebe is skipping school today, and, I’m a little worried that means you might be too, as I don’t want you to miss your pajama party! I didn’t get the chance to explain anything about The Witch, since Mom was rushing me to leave, but she came out twice this week, looking for you. The first time, she’d simply asked where you were, and why you hadn’t written anything to them. Then, yesterday, the note just said to take her to you, and to put her in a bag, so you didn’t touch her directly. She didn’t clarify, but I think that as long as you leave her in the bag, she’ll keep her magic and be fine. :)

I’m pretty sure that the cell phones will be turned back on by tonight, which means that if the mall is open on Monday, we can take your phone in to get the screen fixed. Also, we need to order you a new case, because the one you have is totally beat up, lol. I’m putting some pics below, you should pick the one you like best, so I can order it. ;)

Just pick the color you like best, and let me know. I think the one with the rubber bumps are the best idea, since they make it grippy, and harder to drop, but, if you insist on a plain one, we can look at those, too.

I hope that you have the best, best day, and I can’t wait to talk to you soon!

Love you billions and trillions,

-Dad

Happy Thursday, Thea!

I hope that you had a good day yesterday! I was really glad that you were able to stay the night at my house, even if we both struggled waking up on time. Therapy felt like a really, really good session, and I think we were able to touch on a few things that you hadn’t talked about before, and it seemed like there was a bit of a weight lifted off of you by the end. Hopefully, you agree. I think that the family session that Katelyn suggested is a really, really great idea, and, I’m looking forward to it in two weeks.

I’d really hoped that after I picked you up from school, we could get more of your homework packet knocked out, and read more of To Kill a Mockingbird than we were able to. I’m sorry we had to rush off to get Charlie, she was really, really scared when Mom never picked her up from school. I won’t spoil it, but the part that we were reading when we went to get Charlie is where the book starts to get really, really good. We’ll knock it out when you get home, on Monday.

Please check out the Insta account here at some point today, and vote on what we’ll be watching as far as movies/TV when you come home! They’re instastories, so, they’ll only be up until a few hours after school gets out. I hope that you have a fantastic day today!

Love you to Jupiter and back,

-Dad

Happy Wednesday, Thea!

This post is a little weird, because you’re literally five feet away from me as I’m typing it, lol.I’m really glad that Mom asked me to pick you up from school again today, as it’s really awesome to get to spend more time with you, on my off-weeks. I love that when you’re here, I don’t have to worry that your homework isn’t being done, and that we can knock out your reading. I had a lot of fun going to the mall with you, and am really glad we were able to get you ice cream, and hang out.

I’m so glad that you’re enjoying reading To Kill a Mockingbird with me, as much as I am reading it again. I try to read it about every decade, and find that I love it more and more each time I read it.

I’ll be seeing a lot of you tomorrow, too, since I’m taking you to school, you have therapy tomorrow at school, AND mom asked me to pick you up after school again! Looks like it’s my lucky week! We can finish up your homework packet tomorrow after school, and you won’t have to worry about it for the rest of the week!

So, the song of the day kinda has some meaning behind it, too. I used to listen to this band a lot when I was younger, and this was one of my favorite of their songs… Earlier this year, they played a 20th anniversary concert in Portland, and, since you were at mom’s that week, I went to see them. For the tour, they were playing two nights in each city, playing two of the albums they’d recorded, in their entirety. I went on the night that they played a different album than the one this song was from, so I was pretty sure they wouldn’t play it, but, at the end of the concert, they came out and played it as an encore, and, right in the middle of it, I got a text from you, that mom had gone out, and that you couldn’t fall asleep. We chatted until she came home, and so now I always think of you, and that night when I hear this song. <3

Lastly, make sure that you log into the Insta today, as I’m putting all three stories back up for you to vote on, since you all missed them when they were up before. The link is in Monday’s post. ;)

Have a great day at school today, I love you billions,

-Dad

Happy Tuesday, Thea.

I still feel really, really terrible about last night. It’s really awful, and heartbreaking to watch you stand there, crying about something you have no control over. I know that you wanted to stay, and didn’t want to go back to mom’s, and I’m really, really sorry that you were upset. On the bright side, I’m really, really glad that I was able to take you to the ribbon-cutting ceremony at school, and get to spend some time with you, while Mom went home for a nap. I’m a little glad that Phoebe had homework, and we were able to spend some time just the two of us, since that’s always fun. :)

Thank you so much for making sure to remember to turn in your red hot reader form! You’re really starting to get the hang of personal responsibility, and, although I’m not super excited that you’re having to do that at age ten, it’ll really help on nights that a parent isn’t reminding you about the things you need to get done.

I hope that you’re excited for volleyball tomorrow, and Thursday! I’ll see you Wednesday, as well, for your appointment with Katelyn. I know that you’d said you weren’t interested, at the time, but I really think you might reconsider one of the other Winter after-school activities? The Lego program sounded really interesting, as did a few others. Of course I won’t force you, I just don’t want you to miss out, once volleyball ends.

Don’t forget to check out that new Insta account, so you can help vote on TV and movies for us to watch when you come home! The link is in yesterday’s post. I miss you an awful lot, and I’ll talk to you soon!

Love,

-Dad

Happy Monday, Thea!

I hope that you had a good night last night! I’m really sorry that you don’t have clothes at mom’s, but I’m really looking forward to seeing you after school to pick some up! I made sure that all of your clothes are washed and dried, so you can pick from whatever you want, without having to worry if something you wanted to take isn’t clean. :)

Hopefully, you’ll read this before school, so you see this reminder to turn in the form for your reading for the month of October! Not reading at mom’s really worked against you, even though we tried to read twice as much here, to make up for it. Averaging the time you were at mom’s plus the extra time here, it was about 16 minutes per day, when it should be at least 20. Don’t worry though, we’ll find a way to get it balanced out. I’m really, really looking forward to finishing To Kill a Mockingbird with you.

As I promised your sisters, I set something up for the movie/TV show trailers, and a way for you three to vote on them, so we can start pre-planning stuff to watch. Head over to Insta, and follow @dadstrailervotes. Every day that you have a new post, there will also be a movie or TV show trailer there, and a space to score it. Super simple, watch, reply, done. If y’all take it seriously, instead of adding jokes as replies, lol, it should be pretty handy. ;)

I hope you have a fantastic day, I love you so much, and miss you loads already!

Love,

-Dad
