Really sorry about yesterday’s post! I got them caught up in the afternoon, but, I think they still kind of got lost in the shuffle. You really killed it for spirit week this year! I’m glad I was able to get you the extra bits you needed, and you were able to get it all put together. Your egirl getup looked pretty popular, based on social media, lol. That PurpleUnicorns girl even had the same hearts you did!
I’m really glad Mom asked me to pick y’all up from school on Wednesday. I had a lot of fun hanging out afterward. I don’t know what’s going on this week, but, she called to tell me that Adriane was picking Thea up after volleyball, and I know that ya’ll ended up at Adriane’s tonight until 11pm on a school night. That, coupled with her picking everyone up over an hour late from school on Tuesday has me a little concerned, but, I’m sure you’ll let me know if anything becomes a problem. :)
I’m sad that I’ll miss seeing you before Homecoming, but, really, really glad that I’ll be there tonight for the game. I’m really excited that you’ll be cheering again, and I think that getting you back in was a really wise decision. You were only out for about a month, but it felt like much longer. I think it was really helpful for you to get the break, though, and showed you that even if things are stressful, maybe cheer isn’t the thing that should be cut out to stave off the stress.
Thank you so much for putting in the work, and getting all of your English assignments caught up this week. I wish you could get to a point where you weren’t leaving it all until the last minute, to cut down on your own stress, but, I’m still proud of the fact that you were able to get it done.
