I hope you’re ready for open house tonight! I’ll be there, as always, but, not sure I’ll see you, if you’re going with Mom, that’ll be up to her, I suppose. I’m really excited to meet your teachers, as the only one I already know is Buell. You did a really, really good job this year, of balancing classes that will benefit you, and that you’ll enjoy. I’m super proud of you for taking the more difficult path, and understanding that it’ll be more rewarding in the long run, even if it’s more work.
I know that Mom said that you’re not allowed to hang out with Lou while you’re there, so, maybe we can try to get something planned for when you get home, so you two can make up some time. I know it’s hard not getting to spend time with your best friend, and I’m sorry for that. let me know if you come up with anything, and we’ll do our best to make it work. :)
Do you remember the photo below? It highlights my only weakness as a parent. Hair, lol. I still need to learn how to French Braid. Do you remember your girl scout ball? We bought you a fancy dress, but, I didn’t know how to do your hair, so we went to the salon, and they trimmed and styled it for you. Charlie and Thea came along too, and they did each of their hairs, as well. The ball was a blast, I wish I had more pictures from it. <3
